Accreditation Coordinators

The accreditation coordinator is the staff member responsible for preparing his/her public health agency for an accreditation survey. The accreditation coordinator also acts as a liaison between the public health agency and the survey team during the on-site accreditation review. Although an accreditation coordinator may or may not be eligible to serve as an OCCHA surveyor (See Information for Surveyors for criteria), OCCHA invites accreditation coordinators to participate in a surveyor training session in order to learn more about the accreditation process. In addition, OCCHA provides an orientation session for newly appointed accreditation coordinators. If you are an accreditation coordinator and would like more information about OCCHA or the accreditation process, please contact Meighan Finlay at meighanfinlay@occha.org.
